The Byron English Language Academy

Byron English Language Academy is based in the beautiful town of Byron Bay. The school itself is located only a short stroll from the famous Main Beach at Byron Bay. The classrooms are large and filled with natural light. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly and we provide a welcoming and comfortable environment in which to learn.

The school is set on 4000 m2 (one acre ) which is large enough for a volley ball court or even space to kick a soccer ball around. Shady trees are planted around the perimeter of the grounds with benches underneath where students can relax.

The Common Room is set up for students comfort and a place to meet or use the computers.

We have Free high speed internet access and web-cam and you can also bring your own laptop to access free wireless Internet throughout the college. The Library has a wide range of learning resources that include textbooks, DVDs, magazines and other reading material.

You can swim or surf in your lunch time and there is a choice of many cafes and restaurants very close to the school. Across the road is a popular café called The Green Garage. They not only sell fantastic coffee and have a big array of sandwiches and home made cakes but also stock a full range of groceries.

Class sizes are kept small to maximise learning quality and up to date resources are used to reinforce the high standard of teaching.

With the school being based in such a popular and beautiful location, there are numerous activities for the students to do in their free time. Byron English Language Academy can arrange all activities for students and advise them on what's best to do in the area. We can also arrange transport for any student's needs.

We believe that students will obtain their best results and have a better experience at the school if they mix with other students from as many nationalities as possible. The school welcomes students from Asia, Europe, South America and beyond.
