Refund Policy
(please read carefully)

• Tuition fees will be refunded in full at any stage if your visa application is rejected
• The registration fee is non-refundable
• Accommodation fees are non-refundable
• If a student cancels a course more than 28 days before the course commencement date, the student will receive a refund of 100%
• If a student cancels a course less than 28 days before the course commencement date, the student will receive a refund of 80% of tuition fees paid.
• No refund is payable after a student has commenced study at Byron English Language Academy
• In the unlikely event that Byron English Language Academy must cancel a course, all tuition fees and compulsory fees plus any unused accommodation fees at the time of cancellation will be refunded in full. As an alternative to making a payment Byron English Language Academy may arrange for another course or part of a course to be provided to the student. It the new course fee is greater than the original course, Byron English Language Academy will cover the extra expense. If the new course is less than the original, the student will be reimbursed the difference.
• If you arrange airport pick up and do not use this service, the fee is non-refundable.

Terms and conditions

• All course fees must be paid before the course commencement date
• Byron English Language Academy, its directors and appointed agents shall not be held responsible for any loss, injury, accident, delay or expense resulting from participation in any of its courses, airport transportation and all accommodation arrangements.
• Byron English Language Academy, its directors and appointed agents are not responsible for any financial obligations or liabilities that a student may personally incur or any damage or injury to the person or property of others that the student may cause while enrolled with Byron English Language Academy
• Byron English Language Academy its directors and appointed agents shall not be held responsible for injury or less suffered by the student during periods of independent travel or absence from the enrolled course.
• A students participation in a Byron English Language Academy course may be terminated at the discretion of Byron English Language Academy, its directors and agents without refund of fees and that a student may be sent home at their own expense if they do not adhere to the Byron English Language Academy rules, regulations and instructions
• Byron English Language Academy reserves the right to expel students in cases of serious misconduct. Fees will not be refunded in such cases.
• If a student becomes ill or injured, Byron English Language Academy, its directors, agents, teachers, home stay and farm stay members may take such action as any of them consider appropriate, including arranging medical treatment or transporting the student back to their own country at their own expense. In such circumstances Byron English Language Academy, its directors, agents, teachers, home stay & farm stay members shall not be held liable for such actions.
• Byron English Language Academy reserves the right to review courses, term dates and fees at any time without notice. We will notify students prior to the commencement of their course.
• All accommodation fees must be paid at least 3 weeks in advance of arrival. If a student is not able to do this they may be placed in temporary accommodation until their preferred accommodation is organised and available.
• Byron English Language Academy may arrange alternative accommodation if a students requested accommodation is not available.
• A student must abide by the laws of Australia
• This agreement does not remove the right to take further action under Australian Consumer Protection Laws
